Our prices are determined by a number of factors, such as the age and pedigree of the dog, import costs, and especially the training and protection levels attained by each dog. Every dog is hand-reared and chosen after temperament testing and health checks prior to selection.

Personal Protection Dog Selection                    

Our selection criteria is exacting and the following list of qualities will show that  not every dog is capable of this type of specialised work. The dog must demonstrate:

Each Protection Dog has been trained in Obedience

Each dog will : Sit, Come to call, Walk to heel, Lie down and Stay on command. They will respond to commands in noisy, busy environments, in the dark and in unfamiliar situations. Each dog has been socialized in family environments with children. Each dog has been taught controlled greetings, riding in the car and control going in/out of gates.

Level 1

Threat Dog

The level 1 dog is trained to show an aggressive display on command. This dog will lunge, show teeth, and bark aggressively at the end of a leash towards any aggressor who tries to approach once his ‘protect’ command is given. Weapons, yelling and other forms of intimidation will not cause this dog to back down. This dog’s purpose is as a very effective deterrent.

Level 2

Defense dog

This dog will show the same aggressive display as a Level 1 dog. This dog has also been trained to counter any attempt of attack by an aggressor by biting and holding until given the command to release. This dog will not back down from an aggressor with weapons or other means of intimidation, and will stand between his owner and the aggressor, his instinct to protect his owner and specialized training combining into an extremely effective protection dog.

Level 3

Executive Personal Protection Dog

The Level 3 dog has all the training of a Level 2 dog, but has the option of being able to be deployed off-leash to pursue and apprehend a running criminal . This highly trained ‘offense’ dog will use its body to knock down and restrain the criminal even when wearing a muzzle. This dog will respond to commands from a distance.
